These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the MicoLa mobile application ("Application") provided by Antonin Kobr ("Service Provider"). By using the Application, you agree to these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using the Application, you signify your agreement to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Application.
2. Description of Service
MicoLa is a vocabulary trainer that utilizes Artificial Intelligence (GPT), camera technology, and Cloud services to help users learn and practice new words. Key features include:
- Scanning textbooks or objects via camera to generate vocabulary.
- AI-powered translations and analysis.
- Practice playlists and progress tracking.
- Group features for sharing vocabulary and progress notifications.
3. User Accounts and Content
Account Security:
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
User Content:
You retain ownership of the vocabulary lists you create. However, by using the Application, you grant us a license to process this content for the sole purpose of providing the service (e.g., transmitting images to AI providers).
Prohibited Content:
You may not use the Application to scan or generate content that is illegal, offensive, or violates intellectual property rights.
4. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
The Application uses OpenAI's GPT models to analyze images and generate translations. While highly advanced, AI can make mistakes. The Service Provider does not guarantee the 100% accuracy of translations or educational content generated by the AI. Users should verify critical information.
5. Subscriptions and Payments
MicoLa may offer premium features through subscriptions.
Payments:
Handled via Apple App Store or Google Play Store using RevenueCat.
Refunds:
Refund requests must be directed to the respective app store platform.
Cancellations:
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's account settings.
6. Groups and Collaboration
The Application allows users to create groups to share vocabulary lists.
- By joining a group, you agree that other group members (such as parents or friends) may see your progress data and receive notifications about your completed practices.
7. Service Availability and Modifications
The Service Provider reserves the right to modify or terminate the Application or any part of it at any time without notice. We are not liable for any data loss, although we strive to maintain high service availability.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Application is provided "AS IS". To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Application.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights to the Application’s software, design, and branding (excluding user-generated vocabulary) belong to the Service Provider.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic.
